About Timothy Johnson

Based in Brooklyn, NY, Timothy Johnson is a musician and author. His extensive experience includes creative project management, digital marketing and branding, and producing events including concerts, backyard dinner shows, and founding and organizing the annual Plymouth Rock N Run 5K/10K turkey trot in Orange County, CA, an endeavor which has well raised over $500,000 for spinal cord research at the Reeve-Irvine Research Center.

As a musician, Timothy has recorded and released three albums of original music with his piano trio, Music by Gestalt. He has collaborated on and created scores for numerous short films, a feature film, and several commercials and recordings as a session musician.

In the realm of education, Timothy has been a guest speaker and teacher at institutions including California Institute of the Arts, California State University Fullerton, the Harmony Project and Bloom school of Music.

At Polyverse Music, a music software company, Timothy was the Head of Sales, Marketing and Operations. He managed and optimized digital marketing campaigns, sales planning, content planning, C-level executive meetings and reports, and other administrative responsibilities.

Most recently, Timothy has released Dreamsong: A Pianist’s Quest, the first installment in a captivating series of storybooks. In these innovative works, readers embark on a journey to save the world through the power of music, and learn to play piano along the way.
