Debussy’s Fawn

I wrote the music for Debussy’s Fawn between 2018-2020.

The Artwork for Debussy's Fawn was a collaboration between Natalie Mal, Brent Lee, Russel Grindstaff, and Jonjon Blunden. Natalie created the 36"x36" painting on wood after several days of meditation with the album. Brent created a seamless 3" wooden border, to which Russel Grindstaff added paper cut-outs with calligraphy. The calligraphy was temporarily taped to the wooden border for the photo by Jonjon (you can see the shadows of the corners of the paper if you look closely at the album artwork), and the piece was then returned to Natalie for gluing/fixing the calligraphy to the finished work permanently. The final artwork is 39"x39" paint on wood with calligraphy border.

In lieu of a physical CD, the album artwork is available for purchase in 11”x11” posters.
