Timothy Johnson is a Brooklyn-based jazz pianist, composer, and educator. He is the founder of Dreamsong Music Lab, a Brooklyn-based music school and studio, and author of Dreamsong Books, a piano story book series.

Timothy holds an MFA in Performer/Composer from California Institute of the Arts and a BM in Jazz/Commercial Music from California State University, Fullerton.

Timothy plays solo piano, has recorded and released 3 albums with his trio Music by Gestalt, one mixtape as Sweet Potae (singer songwriter), and several musical scores for film.
